Ohoii Jepun

Sebelum ape-ape and since ada pulak yang bertanya kenapa pilih nak pergi Jepun, biar Qla bagitahu dulu . Ada yang kata , kenapa nak jugak pergi Jepun, kan Jepun negara mahal. Ada pulak yang tanya , kenapa Jepun , kenapa tak Korea je.

Jawapannya sebab moyang qla berasal dari Jepun. Since aunty qla ada yang dah pernah pergi Jepun and kata Jepun lawa and best, qla teringinlah jugak nak experience sendiri . Masa kecik-kecik dulu selalu tengok gambar moyang pakai kimono/yukata . Cantikkk ,ayuu sangat. Time tu lah pulak selalu berangan nak jugak pakai dan nak jugak jejak kaki dekat negara asal moyang. Kot-kot lah terjumpa kaum kerabat moyang . Tulah sebabnya nak pergi . And kenapa tak Korea , sebab qla dah pernah pergi . And kebetulan masa awal tahun haritu ada promotion ticket ke Jepun. Dan lagi,sebab ada kawan dekat sana, jadinya memang tak fikir panjang pun masa beli ticket . Sekian .

# Orang Jepun expect semua yang datang Jepun tahu berbahasa Jepun.

# Main transportation di Jepun memang TRAIN . Kalau naik train 1jam tu kira tempat tu dekat je . Kalau 2 jam perjalanan by train kira standard lah, and kalau 3 jam baru kira jauh . Fuhh

# Setiap kali naik train, minimum kene tukar 3 kali . Yes , MINIMUM 3 KALI .

# Kadar kemalangan jalan raya seluruh Jepun dalam sehari adalah SATU kemalangan sahaja . Tu pun selalunya selamat. WOWWW

# Kadar bunuh diri terjun dekat railway dalam sehari adalah berbelas-belas . Errrrr . And kitaorang pernah stranded dalam kerata api sebab ada orang bunuh diri . So tepaksalah tunggu deorang alihkan mayat dari railway and bersihkan . Kalau emergency macam manaaaaa ?

# Orang Jepun tak tahu pun Malaysia tu adalah sebuah negara . What more , deorang tak tahu pun Malaysia dekat mana . Jadi kenalah explain Malaysia tu in between Thailand and Singapore.

# Orang Jepun sangat sangat sangat punctual . Kalau train tu , time dia tak macam Malaysia ; 800 am , 930 am Takkk. Jepun punya 843 am , 748 pm , 232 pm . Nampak takkk bezaa. Seminit pon kira okayyy

# Expenses sangat sangat sangat lah mahal. Air kotak ice lemon tea yang kecil tu approximately Rm 4 ++ .Whatttt . Mineral water pon sama . So minum je lah air paip .

# Jangan pelik bila orang jepun pandang korang pelik. Qla penah kene sampai dia tengok muka dekat-dekat . Qla takut terus lari dekat Paah walaupun orang tu dah cakap maaf. Ada tu pulak pura-pura nak amek gambar ape entah, tapi sebenarnya curi-curi amek gambar kita . Bukannnnn nak perasan ke ape , tapi betul . Masa tu tengah tunggu siapa entah dekat train station. So ktorang pun berkumpulah tepi tiang . Then ada makcik ni diri dekat-dekat dengan group ktorg and anak dia amekkan gambar . Ingatkan adalah kot-kot banner ke ape. Then tanyalah dekat ika, ada pape ke dekat belakang tiang tu . Tapi takde pape. So conclusionnya apeee ?

# Kadang-kadang memang deorang pandang kita pelik. Tapi ada je yang puji kita orang Msia cantik . Pernah sekali time beratur nak naik bus balik from Fuji , tiba- tiba Qla terdengar 2 orang lelaki dekat sebelah cakap dalam nada berbisik "kawaii" . Nasib baik tahu maksud kawaii tu :) Again , ni bukan perasann, sebab Ika pun terdengar .

# Otw to Hakone , jumpa dengan satu group pakcik-pakcik. Dia puji kata gigi orang Msia cantik-cantik . Then masa dekat Disney Sea , Qla and Nana pun buatlah "observation" nak tengok "inference" pakcik tu betul ke tak . Rupanya betul . Mungkin tak semua, tapi mostly ada masalah gigi. Jadinya bersyukur lah kita .

# Orang Jepun suka pakai earth colour or light colour. Kalau dalam train tu macam nampak semua pakai baju sama colour . Kalau yang lelaki , baju putih seluar hitam . Boooooring . Yang kiteorang ni pulak semua nak colour blocking , striking . Mungkin tu yang orang Jepun pandang pelik tu kot . Lol

# Kalau cakap pasal disiplin, mungkin takde bangsa lain boleh kalahkan orang Jepun . Beratur panjang mana pon deorang tak main cut-cut. Naik escalator pun beratur. Kalau nak relax-relax guna line kiri, kalau nak "express way" line kanan. Ala, macam dekat highway tu.

# Semua orang tahu orang Jepun terkenal dengan budaya membaca . Betullah tu . Tapi yang peliknya, orang Jepun ni mesti akan balut buku deorang sebab tak nak orang lain tahu deorang baca buku apa .

# Bab disiplin lagi . Bandar Tokyo memang clean and clear . Tong sampah pun susah nak jumpa . And kalau nak buang sampah pun pun kene asing-asingkan . Ala-ala macam Malaysia punya kempen Kitar Semula yang tak berapa nak jadi . Tapi deorang dekat sana tak payah di suruh, memang habit .

# Orang Jepun memang peramah . Peramah yang sangat sangattt . Tapi ada yang kata deorang buat-buat je , dekat belakang mengata. Tak tahulah .

# Students Msia dekat Jepun dapat monthly allowence RM 5 k ++ . Tapi boleh save RM 600 je sebab semua benda mahal . Untunglah belajar dekat India, boleh simpan half of the allowence-RM 1k ( kalau tak kaki shopping ).

# Jalan lajuuuuu . Patutlah susah nak jumpa orang obese . Jumpa sorang je , tu pon masa last day . Serious tak tipuu .

# Pakcik-pakcik sukalah layan tourist muda - mudi ni. Sebab katanya muda-mudi Jepun takkan layan pakcik/makcik ni sebab masing-masing sibuk dengan gadget .

Japan Trip : Day 1 and 2

Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah

Thanks to the Almighty Allah for giving us the chance to travel and discover more of His beautiful creations .

The Japan Trip that we had planned since January this year had finally came to the end . One week flew so fast that we didnt realised how much Japan had actually opened our eyes to see a total different world of theirs behind those sky high concrete . Will insyaAllah share about Japanese's life, culture and others in my next (next next next ) post.

Day 1 :

Boarded flight D7522 at 255pm and touched down at Haneda International Airport around 11pm local time . Thanks to Allah that we need not have to spend our first night at the airport. Managed to catch the last train at 1151pm to Lillah's house . Well, just imagine the four of us (plus Lillah five) need to run as if we were in a sprint competition dragging the big luggage and need to change stations 3 times before we finally reached Lillah's. And along the way to Lillah's ,there were many drunk people at the station and the scene sort of "entertained" us after the whole tiring trip. Reached Lillah's place aroubd 230am ++.

Day 2 :
Despite of only few hours of sleep,we were so full of enthusiasm and energy to really begin our journey. We left house as early as 8am .

Shinjuku Park.

No such things as free entrance fee when you are in Japan (Tokyo) . Even if you want to have a walk at the park, you will need to think about money .

Imperial Palace

An old palace in the middle of World's Most Expensive City ?

Harajuku

Ever come across with this name ? Bet everyone had ! For fashionista, this is a MUST VISIT place when you are in Tokyo . You will get to entertain yourself with all sorts of funky (and weird) fashion style and this is the only time you get to put on your fashion police hat :p

walk straight till the end of this road to get to Harajuku St .

You got to bear with the sea of "weird" people

A MUST MUST try .

Although the price is almost four folds if to compared with Hot n Roll, but just dont hesitate to spend some yen on this. Highly recommended !

There's another booth opposite Marion Crepes selling almost the same thing, and they are competing with each other . What a super competitive Japanese .

Shibuya

The only thing i wanted to see so badly in Shibuya was their famous scramble crossing- The Shibuya Crossing . You can never imagine how "scramble" is the intersection , unless you experience it yourself . You might get lost in the sea of pedestrian or probably going to the other road if you are not alert enough .
No joke ! And  FYI , Shibuya crossing is also one of the setting in The Fast and the Furious : Tokyo Drift .

ohh ohh, you can also spare some times to have a look at Hachiko's statue - the loyal dog in Shibuya .

NOO NOOO, they are not performing Flash Mob !

Dinnner ar Tokyu Square and had maguro-katsudon .

The Month of Vacation

Weeeee
Finally it's September-The Vacation month !

I bet, it is just not me alone who will have to pack the luggage(again) and drag them to the airport. But this time,the agenda is different. No tears shall drop at the airport,no goodbyes shall be made,no Leaving On the Jet Plane playing in the background and definitely nothing related to study purpose. Double yay !

A group of my KMS friend from manipal will be going to Korea. Same goes to my IMS-MSU senior. Another group of friends of mine is now already in Sydney. Probably i will be reading more and more exciting and happy updates from different sides of the world this month. Im just happy reading their latest status on fb of what they are currently up to. They deserve all those moments. Study medic stress kot.

While for me myself, i will InsyaAllah be visiting 2 countries .

One with friends,the other with family.
One needs visa,the other naah.
One self-support,the other by parents.

So for that,i've been doing some "homeworks" for both trips. I downloaded few apps that will help me with the language barrier once i reach there. It's quite interesting to learn new language,although your tongue might get twisted once awhile. Another app that i found interesting is the one that shows beautiful pictures of the place that i might be visiting ,with some informative infos. Apart from that,just few other basic apps that i might need ; maps,list of public transport and all.

After flipping thru the calender, I just realized that I only have 21 days left( minus 12 days for vacation) to enjoy every moment at home - will be flying back to Bangalore on 3rd Oct. And probably for that reason, i hardly feels like going out or make some date with old friends or simply just to go shopping. Probably other reasons for this is because Subang is getting hotter by days-tolonglahhh hujan, pleaseee. Or im just so malas to mix and match or to think of what should i wear if i were to go out. Malas to do those kind of thinking process. But not to worry, i will try my level best to beat this lazy part of me to make up for any invitations-WILL TRY. Just that if i have to initiate any events/meeting/gathering im so sorry .

Since i hardly go out nowadays, i enjoy myself most when i get to indulge and immerse myself into the novel that im currently reading in no other better place than my bedroom. I brought home 2 of my "still virgin" novels out of quite a stack of them back from Bangalore with intention to finish them up during this holidays. But the mission seems quite impossible since i just get the chance to lay back and read. Im only about half way thru the first novel. With the coming vacations and all, i think that they-the novels will be flying back to Shriram Sandhana Apartment again as a virgin.lol.

Since the lazy part of me has conquered the master, i would like to apologise if i didn't / late / answer or reply any of your call / text / comment. There are times when i simply left my iphone and ipad . Mintaaaa ampun , mintaaa maaf . And so sorry for not answering your call , probably because i didn't have your number saved in my phone. So next time, just text if i didn't answer you at the first place .

Cerita Visa

Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah.

Visa dah settled.

Selagi visa tak settle banyak plan yang terpaksa postpone, ada invitations yang terpaksa put on hold dulu , terpaksa check email regularly , terpaksa menebalkan muka text/call/email kak aya,kak ain and sister jepun untuk tanya update sampai kadang-kadang tu rasa macam nak tarik diri je dari trip ni sebab dah malu sangat. Siap dah fikir alasan ape nak bagi dekat mak abah sebab tak nak pergi.

Hari ni dah settled , alhamdulillah. Legaaaaa yang amat-amat-amat sangat.

So boleh start plan untuk hari-hari berikutnya/proceed plan yang tergendala.

Pengalaman first time nak travel dengan kawan-kawan ni sebenarnya agak "mencabar". Kalau sebelum ni nak travel, tak payah nak fikir ape pon. Semua mak abah settle kan. Kalau tak pon travel agent siapkan semua. Flight ticket dah siap booked. Ground arrangement ada orang uruskan. Tak payah nak isi documents bagai. Pocket money terjamin .Tinggal nak pack luggage je. Mudah.

Tapi,sekarang dah besar. Mungkin dah kene start belajar bits by bits cara orang besar. Dah kene cuba merasa perasaan bila ada tanggungjawab yang perlu dilaksanakan,ada amanah yang perlu dijaga , ada hati yang perlu diambil kira . Semua ni tak mudah.

Pengalaman pertama kene uruskan visa is really SOMETHING. By the end of the day,bila fikir balik , betul cakap kak ain and kak aya yang sebenarnya ada benda yang Allah nak ajar qla throughout this process. InsyaAllah :)

This is just my personal experience :

Qla tak tahulah berapa kali qla baca website embassy untuk pastikan tak ter-missed satu pon documents. Rasanya jumlah baca website embassy lagi banyak daripada baca J.K Pal Physio.

Tanya orang embassy and orang-orang lain untuk clarify procedure lagi banyak daripada pergi clarify Anatomy dekat lecturer.

Fikir ayat untuk buat surat lagi lama daripada masa nak hafal cycle Biochem.

Okayyyy,a bit too exaggerate, tapi ni serious. Takut sangat punya pasal. Dah lah abah and mak asyik tanya bila nak pergi buat visa sebab plan asal nak settlekan visa before raya. So terpaksa pulak fikir alasan yang bernas tak nak bagi diaorang suspicious.

Masa dekat embassy pulak, tak tahu lah kenapa, mengigil macam tak makan sehari. Lens tiba-tiba macam blur. Nak kata terbalik, rasanya tak sebab dah check dekat cermin beberapa kali. Re-check documents entah berapa kali, nasib tak lunyai.

Tapi Alhamdulillah embassy sangat effective. Sangat systematic dan pantas.

1. Jangan lepas tangan
2. Cuba ambil tahu
3. Cuba contribute something
